2022 Term 1 Gymnastics

We are pleased to release our Timetable and Calendar for Term 1 2022.

Classes for 2022 will commence from Monday 31st January.

Over the first week of January we will be working to place existing 2021 students into classes.

If you completed the 2022 Class preference survey you will receive a email ” NWG Class Enrolment Transfer process” advising you of your class for 2022.
If you have not completed the 2022 Class preference survey and are a current member we will be in contact with you between the 4-10th January to place your child in a class.

If you are looking to enrol for 2022 and are not a current student enrolments will open via the parent portal from the 10th January 2022. Baby Gym and Mini Movers enrolments are now open.

2021 Tropical Townsville Competition – 12th to the 14th November 2021

Townsville have advised: There will be a limit of two spectators per gymnast competing (this includes children) and we will have a canteen with food and drinks available outside the venue.

2021 Term 4 Gymnastics

Term 4 Classes will run from Tuesday the 5th of October to Saturday the 11th December.

For our existing families your enrolments will roll over between terms.

Term 3 wraps up on Friday the 17th September.

Please note the following dates:

Stay tuned as some classes may be changed between the 11th and 14th November as we are off to Townsville for Competition.

Mackay May 2021 Competition Wrap Up

Congratulations to our Athletes who competed in Mackay in May 2021.

We were privileged to be able to take 15 Girls to compete across Levels 1-6.

Most amazingly all of our Athletes who competed passed their levels test over the comp weekend.

It was great to see some new gymnasts hitting the floor for their first time in comp!

We are back to Mackay in August for Junior Regionals.

Friday 18th June for the Mount Isa Show Holiday.
Saturday the 31st July and Sunday the 1st August for our In House Competition.
Classes will not be running from the 13th to the 15th August as we are away for our NQ Regional Competition. Please check the portal for your classes.
Term 3 wraps up on the 17th September while we take a short break for State Championships to be back in the gym for Term 4 from the 5th October.

Home School Foundations

Home School Gymnastics Foundations is a co-ed gymnastics class for children that are home schooled in our local region aged 5-10yrs.

Kids have energy to burn and we can keep them engaged while learning fundamental movement skills, developing balance, coordination, spacial awareness and becoming strong, resilient individuals. The classes are packed with lots of fun including:

Ninja
Precision Jumping
Obstacle Courses
Rock Climbing
Trampoline
Aerial Silks
Rope swings!

Not only will these kids get to experience Gymnastics including Floor tumbling basics like handstands, cartwheels, rolls. They will also learn safe progressions and skill sequences on bars, beam, vault and trampoline. Let them learn to take risks in a fun and safe learning environment.

Our gym is packed with features from an Olympic trampoline, to air floors, rock climbing wall, aerial silks, a funky monkey bars Ninja rig and everything in between.

These classes can be a pathway into our other Gymnastics Programs including: Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Levels program, Flips n Tricks tumbling classes and Ninja Foundations.

Is your little superstar a future Olympian or do you just want them to become a strong and independent individual with well developed spatial and body awareness?

Classes Run: Tuesday 10:00-10:50am

If you also have younger children and don’t want them to feel left out check out our Mini Movers 2-3.5yrs and Early Learners 3-5yrs classes that also run on Tuesday mornings.

February 2021 Update

Hi gym families we’ve posted March tuition to your parent portal accounts.

Just a reminder by default we bill monthly on the 15th of the month for classes for the following month.

Also a reminder that makeup tokens were issued for the classes that were cancelled in week 1 however as mentioned in the cancellation email if you are unable to find a makeup class please let us know via email and we’ll happily credit your account for these.

Going to be absent? Make sure you log your absence in the portal at least 24 hours ahead so other families can access your spot as a makeup and for you to be granted a makeup token.

We know it is only week 3 however we are already planning ahead. If you are thinking of changing classes, days or cancelling you can let us know with a waitlist or drop request via the Parent Portal.

Something coming up you can let us know now. Enrolments do carry over between terms so if you know ahead of time you may be leaving us you can elect to drop a class at any time via the portal with 2 weeks notice.

Waitlisting in classes helps us to understand what you are after and when to schedule class places.

Of course – should we need to change the timetable we will be in touch to advise.
