2023 Term 4 classes commence from Tuesday 3rd October and run through to Sunday 3rd December.

Enrolments are of an ongoing nature, families can elect to withdraw from classes at any time with 2 weeks prior notice via the Parent Portal.

Important information and dates for Term 4 2023
- 2023 Term 3 active student enrolments will roll over automatically to Term 4.
- Enrolments for new families and students will open from 12th September 2023
- Waitlisted students and families will receive a “Class Place Opening” email by 15th September 2023. Acceptances or requests for changes must be received prior to 21st September 2023. You can view your child’s waitlist enrolment for 2023 via your Parent Portal
No Classes will be running on the following days
- Monday 2nd October – Labour Day Public Holiday
- from Monday 9th October up to and including Friday morning 13th October.
Regional Fortnightly Saturday Classes will continue in Term 4
Please note the dates for the Regional fortnightly class options are detailed in the class descriptions on the parent portal under bookings.
Fortnightly classes for Mini Movers, Pre-Independent and Independent Early Learners will continue to be offered in Term 4 for Monday, Thursday and Friday classes.
Please note the dates for the fortnightly classes are set to align with the October Crew Roster change. Specific class dates are listed in class descriptions on the parent portal under bookings

- $25 per participating child
Gym Fun Christmas Mega Session for Children 5-8yrs
- Saturday 10th December 2022 9:30 – 10:30am
- 60 minutes of fun in the upstairs gym and studio. With Obstacle courses, tumble track, trampoline, Ninja climbing challenges, Jumping, Swinging, climbing balancing and rock climbing.
- $20 per participating child
Mega Under 5’s Christmas Session
- Saturday 10th December 2022 8:30 – 9:15am
- 45 minutes of fun in the upstairs gym and studio. With Obstacle courses, tumble track, trampoline, Ninja climbing challenges, Jumping, Swinging, climbing balancing and rock climbing.
- Parent Participation required. We recommend 1 caregiver per participating child
- $18 per participating child.

Girls 2022 Christmas Fun Comp
Saturday 3rd December
Our Girls Gymnastics Beginners, Foundations and Intermediate Skill and Routine Displays.
Open to all current students participating in our Girls Programs. A fun day for the kids to demonstrate their skills and routines without travelling away. A wonderful way to end the training season and celebrate your daughters progress for the year.
Nominations $40. Nominations close 27th November.

Session Times
- 8:15 – 10:30 : Girls Beginners Pre-Level 1 and Level 1
- 9:15 – 11:30 : Girls Intermediate Pre-Level 3
- 10:15 – 12:30 : Girls Foundations Pre-Level 2 and Level 2
- Presentations 12:30
- Awards: Apparatus Ribbons, Participation Certificate, NWG 2022 Member Christmas Gift
As presentations are happening at the end of the fun comp you have the option to pre-purchase a treat pack ($5) for your daughter which includes: Iceblock, Cupcake and Juice popper. These will be distributed at the end of their session and we encourage you to stick around to watch the other groups, and to receive your daughter’s NWG 2022 member gift which will be presented at the end of the comp.
What to Wear?
Uniforms are not compulsory however leotards or dress similar to competition requirements such as leotard and bummers or bike pants is appreciated. Training Leotards are ideal.
All competitors will need to bring a water bottle.
Volunteers Needed! Can you help with supporting our canteen, baking goods for sale, supply of iceblocks?
Judges needed! We are looking for Parents keen to help Judge. Training provided – you’ll get to learn about the Girls level 1-2 Judging system.

Flipside Circus Workshops

2022 Great Western Games Wrap Up
It’s been an amazing week hitting the comp floor in Townsville at the Great Western Games.
A huge thank you to Cava Hydraulics & Engineering for providing sponsorship to help these amazing kids mix with the best in the region.
Thank you Gymnastics Townsville for putting on an amazing weekend.
- Pocket Rocket Mackenzie smashed out Level 1
- The Pre-Level 3’s were beautiful to watch. Lots of Blue and Red ribbons, goals smashed and a special judges mention for Aurelia and her spectacular floor routine.
- The Level 4’s surprised themselves. Their focus in training showed with both Livvy and Anya smashing personal goals and both receiving all round scores that qualify for State Championships.
- The Level 6’s came off the comp floor all smiles because they ticked off many of their comp goals.
Medals and placings are won in training, competitions are where we go to pick them up
Everyone is now on the countdown to the next comp. Regional Championships at the start of August.

2022 Covid Update
GYM FAMILIES: Update as at April 2022 for Term 2 2022.
- Please be familiar with and adhere to requirements as per the QLD Health Website
- From Term 2 2022 our viewing areas will be open with some restrictions to help maintain social distancing.
- There will be a limit of 1 parent / caregiver per child and we ask that sibling spectator attendance is limited.
- Please refer to the signs in each area including the floor markings and seating arrangements.

2022 Term 2 Gymnastics
Gymnastics Classes for Term 2 flip off from Tuesday the 19th April and run through to Sunday 26th June.
An action packed term with In-House Fun Comps and away competitions.

Heading into winter the gym is a beautiful temperature and can get nice and chili!
